SAFE is aiming to advance the green energy transition, development of new value chains in innovative and cost-effective energy solutions, ensuring social sustainability and coherence with digitalization in green energy transition as indicated in the call. The allocated building will be transformed into a “living lab” via collaborative work of 5 different organizations from 3 different countries (TR, DE, and CH). Our project will ensure the co-creation and participation of public-private people.
Samsun Governorship Office Building, which will be equipped as a living lab, will be a center of attraction for those who want to do innovation studies. Through the Living Lab, it is aimed to support entrepreneurs in areas such as technology, smart urbanism, clean environment technologies, clean energy, and innovation, and to develop technological, fast, smart, and new solution methods in city management by bringing technology together with individuals.
The energy performance of the Samsun Governorship Office Building will be increased by using renewable energy systems such as PV panels and solar thermal. With digital technologies that will enable the use of natural resources more smartly and efficiently, it will contribute to increasing the amount of renewable energy used and reducing the effects of carbon footprint and climate change.
