SAFE: SmArt Solutions For Digitalisation of Energy PROJECT

Welcome

With the SAFE project, we aim to make efficient use of energy resources, achieve sustainability and increase the fraction of clean energy through waste management, the inclusion of renewable energy, and digitalization of energy in public buildings. Within the scope of the project, the Samsun Governorship building will be transformed into a “living lab” defined as a development in an urban real-life setting, which is based on participation, co-creation, experimentation, and learning processes, which results in innovation by regular evaluation. Thus, by creating public-private-people partnerships in which all stakeholders actively participate in an environment that offers real-life experience, they co-create and test new technologies, services, products, systems, and/or discourses in a real-life urban setting; and critically reflect on the whole process, challenges and results. In this context, in our project:

As Samsun Governorship, we will allocate the Samsun Governorship building as a „Living Lab“ application area. In addition, efforts will be made to raise awareness of individuals on the use of clean energy, reduction of carbon footprint, climate change, digitalization of energy, and the reliability of digitalization.
